New Adobe Commerce Cloud-solution for the biggest Apple Premium Reseller in Norway
After an extensive process and evaluation of a number of potential platforms and agencies, PearlConvert was given the task of carrying out a preliminary project together with Eplehuset where we defined the strategy, objectives and scope for the project which we were later given the confidence to realize.
The result is a digital commerce ecosystem based on the Best of Breed strategy where each service is selected because it solves a specific need as best as possible, and not as a result of typical needs to compromise in an "all in one" platform.
Both the e-commerce platform Adobe Commerce and Pimcore used for PIM, DAM and CMS are enterprise-open-source technology, this gives the company the pace of development, flexibility and control it wanted.
Adobe Commerce
Adobe Commerce has not only been named a leader in digital commerce for B2C, but is also ranked as a Leader by Forrester in B2B. The fact that you did not have to choose which of the two markets should dictate the choice of platform, but getting the best of both worlds in one and the same platform was a big advantage for Eplehuset.
Pimcore CMS
Its important for Eplehuset to be able to work independently with content publishing and have an online store where they can change large parts of the website's look & feel, as well as structure themselves, without involving developers.
We have therefore recommended Pimcore CMS, which means that they are not limited by the tools in the same way as most online stores are and they can work on creating better customer experiences in an online store that will be perceived as more alive.
Pimcore PIM & DAM
Eplehuset has a wide range of products where both customers and suppliers have high demands on product information and the media used. The company also operates in several channels and their business model requires that product information be adapted to the various purposes. The result of these factors means that it is very time-consuming to work with product enrichment and media.
As a consequence we have integrated Pimcore PIM with the customer's ERP system, so that master data is transferred to Pimcore, which streamlines the work with product enrichment and media, before the information is published to the online store and other relevant channels.
Click & Collect
Like all other companies that work multi-channel, Eplehuset knows very well how essential the online store is in the customer journey where a digital interaction facilitates physical trading.
So Click & Collect is a strategic measure that we have worked a lot on to optimize in relation to UX. In the same way that it should be easy for the customer, we have also focused on it being easy to handle for all store employees who get new tasks and systems.
We have developed Omnifox as a simple order management system (OMS) integrated with the online store and possibly ERP/POS that makes it easy for store employees to handle incoming orders.

By using Flow, a platform for integration and services tailored for eCommerce, we have been able to integrate with all essential systems, centralize their administration and management into a central hub and we make it easier to replace or integrate new services.
